Domestic Cleaner

**NZ NATURAL POULTRY LIMITED is a leading poultry farming company that produces high-quality eggs for the New Zealand market. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking domestic cleaner to join our team and help us maintain a clean and healthy environment for our chickens and staff.**

**Responsibilities and Accountabilities**
- ** Vacuuming carpets, curtains and upholstered furniture in the office and staff areas**
- ** Sweeping, mopping, waxing and polishing tiled, vinyl, timber and concrete floors in the poultry sheds and other facilities**
- ** Tidying rooms, emptying wastepaper bins and removing refuse and recyclable material**
- ** Cleaning, disinfecting and deodorising kitchens, bathrooms and toilets**
- ** Dusting, cleaning and polishing furniture and other homewares**
- ** Cleaning windows and other glass surfaces**
- ** Removing dust and dirt from ceilings, walls, cages, nest boxes, fans, air inlets and other surfaces using a low pressure sprayer or a vacuum cleaner**
- ** Soaking, washing and rinsing heavily soiled areas such as perches, roosts and floors using a foaming lance and a spray lance with appropriate detergents and disinfectants**
- ** Cleaning feeders, waterers and other equipment using a brush or a hose**
- ** Following health and safety protocols and wearing protective clothing and equipment as required**

**For the position, you are required**:

- ** Previous experience in domestic cleaning or poultry farming is preferred but not essential**
- ** Ability to work independently or as part of a team**
- ** Attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness**
- ** Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions**
- ** Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual tasks**
- ** Reliable and self motivated**
- ** Hard working**
- ** Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays**
