Equans NZ Limited is looking for HVAC&R Service Technicians to join our Christchurch branch supporting our customers in the Canterbury region.

**About the role**
We’re is seeking experienced Refrigeration & HVAC Service Technicians to join our Christchurch team. Our small but friendly team are passionate about Commercial Refrigeration and Mechanical Services and take pride in the quality of their work. You will need to have a strong focus on providing top level customer service, working safely, have a solid understanding of relevant industry codes and standards enabling you to perform technical HVAC, refrigeration and electrical work on building services equipment. Experience working on centralised refrigeration (rack systems) for the food industry would be an advantage. Participation in an on-call roster (with great rates) and ongoing overtime opportunities are available.
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment with a genuine focus on the health and safety of yourself and others.
- Diagnose technical issues and prioritise workload to meet customer service levels and deliver outcomes in an efficient and effective manner.
- Ensure customer concerns and complaints are managed efficiently and provide resolution.
- Leveraging the current customer network, identify potential sales opportunities via the provision of cost-effective solutions for repairs, replacements and upgrades.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and processes to achieve high-quality business delivery objectives and outcomes to meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Pro-actively strengthen customer relationships and create opportunities within the Equans business and community.

**Technical qualifications and experience**
- Relevant Equivalent Trade Qualifications
- EST Licence, or the ability to obtain an electrical registration
- Proven experience in the commercial and industrial service, maintenance and installation of equipment within the refrigeration and building services industry;
- Demonstrated experience with controls and building management systems; working with Transcritical CO2 systems is an advantage, however training will be provided where required.
- Excellent ability to build effective relationships with clients
- Current clean NZ driver licence, or the ability to obtain one
