We are seeking a qualified certificated kaiako to join our team. Seedlings Preschool has a home-like atmosphere with a team culture which reflects solid professional relationships, a sense of humour, and passion with a belief that children and their families are priority and their education and care is paramount. Seedlings Preschool is set on a lifestyle block, which includes animals to watch and care for. Licensed for 35 children, of which 6 are U2s, with strong ties with the community. Our centre has a large outdoor area with facilities where children have lots of opportunities to explore. This exceptional centre is looking for a dedicated teacher who has: NZ teacher registration Experience working with children The ability to work well in a team and with a wide range of people The ability to identify children’s unique strengths and interests Sound knowledge of ECE legislation, standards, policies and procedures that impact on the centre and programming Good communication and time management skills.
