Based in Wellington , reporting to the National Sales Manager – Power Products & Solutions you will play a pivotal role in supporting business growth and profitability. As a Sales Engineer your primary function will be to sell and promote all Schneider Electric products, services and solutions throughout the designated sales territory focusing on Switchboard Builders, OEM’s, Industrial End Users and Contractors. Key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to; Directly attend to customer needs for all Schneider products, Ecostruxure solutions and services in the designated sales territory; Specialise in Low Voltage Switchgear, Power Quality, Energy Management and Motor Control Equipment sales for the region; Provide customers and contacts information to ensure accuracy of a national customer database; Report and provide general market feedback on customer and competitor activity; Maintain and service existing accounts and actively seek out to obtain new accounts to ensure continual growth of the company; Follow up promptly on sales leads generated by marketing activity; Provide details of projects in designated sales territory; Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events. In addition, you have the following skills: Qualified Industrial Electrician and/or Electrical/Electronics Engineer with minimum 3 years’ experience; Industrial Electrical industry experience preferred but not essential; Experience as a sales representative with a focus on solution selling preferred but not essential; Demonstrated success building effective relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a proven track record of providing excellent customer service; Genuine focus on improving customer satisfaction and engagement; Highly developed influencing and negotiation skills combined with sound business acumen; You have excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and are proficient with MS 365 Software Platforms.
