We are currently seeking an experienced and qualified Electrician to join our Lorneville Plant. Reporting to the Electrician Maintenance Coordinator, the duties of this role will include: Complete preventive and reactive maintenance to ensure smooth operation of plant and equipment. Identify efficiencies and way to improve plant operations. Working with production teams and addressing any breakdown in a timely manner to minimise downtime Focus on continual improvement. Work collaboratively with the maintenance and trade teams. Contributing and working on various projects across the business. You will have a background in FMCG and a current NZ recognised Trade Certificate as well as a NZ EWRD Registered Practicing License (limited licenses will not be accepted) In addition, you will also: Be able to read and interpret engineering and electrical drawings. Have diagnostic experience on PLC or SCADA Technology Be able to work on a flexible rotating roster. Have knowledge of VSD’s, instrumentation and process control systems Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Have excellent communication, time management and organizational skills. Have an attitude towards ownership and accountability.
