We are currently looking for an experienced CFO to join our Executive Leadership Team (ELT).
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will lead and oversee the critical shared services functions across the entire GCH Aviation Group, ensuring their seamless integration and alignment with the company’s overall strategic goals.
This position is pivotal in enhancing operational efficiency, supporting strategic growth, and ensuring the effective and compliant delivery of financial and operational services.
The CFO will work closely with the heads of each business unit to deliver excellence in shared services, maintain regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvements.
The role requires a dynamic and forward-thinking leader who is committed to optimizing the company's resources, ensuring financial integrity, and supporting the diverse needs of the business units across GCH Aviation.

To be a successful applicant, you will require the following:tertiary qualification in accounting, finance, or business management.
Professional qualifications such as CPA, CA, or equivalent would be advantageous.
At least 10 years of senior leadership experience in financial management, shared services, or a similar role within a complex, multi-functional environment.
Demonstrated experience in overseeing financial services, HR, IT, operations, and compliance functions, ideally in the aviation or a related sector.proven experience in change management.
With bases throughout New Zealand, our CFO will be required to travel away from Christchurch and attend Board and other work functions after hours.

GCH Aviation is the only helicopter company in New Zealand with a Diamond Safety Award, so our preferred applicant will be able to walk the talk with respect to safety and participate fully in our Safety Management System.
