We’re looking for dedicated, flexible, full-time chefs.
Minimum 30 hours per week, $25-$25 hourly pay rate.
Responsibilities: Prepare, cook, and present a variety of Indian dishes, including curries, tandoori items, biryanis, Burger, Kathi Roll, South Indian dishes, Chinese and traditional breads.
Develop and refine menu items to maintain authenticity while incorporating customer feedback and seasonal ingredients.
Manage food preparation, cooking, and plating with attention to quality, flavor, andpresentation.
Operate and maintain kitchen equipment, including tandoor ovens, to ensure safety andefficiency.
Monitor food stock, manage inventory, and minimize waste.
Ensure the kitchen meets health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
Collaborate with the management team to create special dishes and seasonal menus.
Requirements: Proven 2-3 years of relevant work experience specializing in Indian cuisine, includingknowledge of spices, traditional cooking techniques, and recipes.
Ability to prepare a wide range of Indian dishes, including vegetarian, non-vegetarian, andregional specialties.
Experience using and maintaining tandoor ovens is a plus.
Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Strong knowledge of food cost management, portion control, and inventory management.
Experience in menu planning and the ability to create high-margin, customer-centric dishes.
Flexible to work in late night, weekends and holidays.
Creativity and passion for Indian food, with a willingness to innovate.
