About the role We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated & analytical Actuarial Manager with excellent relationship and people skills to join our high performing Actuarial & Pricing team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a nearly or newly qualified Actuary looking to take the next step.
This role is project based and delivers on the businesses desired outcomes, rather than a traditional Actuarial role.
Helping our business grow and succeed in a challenging and changing environment, you’ll be responsible for: Leading Ando’s Actuarial function and managing one direct report.
Coaching, developing, and motivating the team to achieve business goals, ensure workload efficiency, and deliver development goals.
Working with the wider business to ensure Ando actuarial services align with business goals and strategies.
Playing an active role in the development of Ando’s performance, systems and process and capability development framework.
Enhancing Ando’s engagement with reinsurance partners, underwriting partners and service providers (such as catastrophe modellers and reinsurance brokers).
Skills & Experience To be successful in this role you ideally will have: completed or nearly completed your Actuarial fellowship.
Existing leadership or coaching experience.
Experience collaborating pro-actively with a range of internal stakeholders.
A great attitude and will be a good human Benefits of being an Andonian (not just limited to the below): Study support for actuarial exams.
