Sewing Machinist

We are looking for Sewing Machinists.
The tasks include the following:
Starting, stopping and controlling speed of machines with pedals and knee levers
Changing needles and adjusting, securing and modifying attachments to machines
Finishing items by cutting excess material and threads
Operating thread trimming and other non-sewing machines
Inspecting stitching for defects and notifying repair mechanics of machine malfunctions
Performing basic maintenance such as lubrication of machines
Preparing products as per order
Maintain all the operating machines to keep them in good working order
The desired candidate should:
Have two-year sewing experience or related qualification
Experience with fashion industry, especially ladies’ fashion is highly preferred
Quick learner, team player and able to produce high quality work under pressure
Be physically fit and have good communication skills
We offer full time job with minimum 30 hours’ work per week.
May require some weekend work on request.
