The Molecular Imaging & Therapy Department located at Christchurch Hospital provides Radionuclide Imaging, Radio-pharmacy and Therapy services for primary andsecondary care providers from the Canterbury area and from other South Island Hospitals.
We are looking foran enthusiastic person who is interested in joining our team as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in the progressive and rewarding profession of Nuclear Medicine (Molecular Imaging).
This is a permanent full-time positionof 40 hours per week.
Days / hours ofoperation are Monday - Friday from 8 - 4 : 30pm with a rostered Radio-pharmacyshift from 7 - 3 : 30pm.
Ko wai koe About You As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist you will be responsible for Radionuclide Imaging, Radio-pharmacy, Radionuclide Therapy Invivo / Invitro Tests, Radionuclide Administration and Radiation Management.
In this role, youwill be required to :

Demonstrate effective interpersonal relationship skills - ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and communicate effectively with patients, relatives and members of the health care team.
Demonstrate professional responsibility - complying with Health New Zealand Policy and Procedure, relevant codes of practice, health & safety standards, and departmental quality system procedures.
Apply specialist skills in all areas of Nuclear Medicine practice in order to provide the best quality service for our patents, within allocated resources.

It is essentialthat you have registration with the NZ MRTB (Nuclear Medicine Technologistscope of practice) with a current practicing certificate.
