Carpenter Position Available â Plusco Aluminium Ltd
Plusco Aluminium Ltd currently has two Carpenter positions available in the Auckland region.
This is a full-time, permanent role with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week.
Your ordinary hours of work will be 40 hours per week, typically between 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
However, occasional Saturday work may be required.
The pay ranges from $25-$31.70 per hour, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:

Install, renovate, and repair doors and windows, ensuring all fittings are secure and correctly aligned.
Study drawings and specifications to determine the required materials, dimensions, and installation procedures.
Prepare layouts and select appropriate materials for the job.
Cut, shape, and assemble parts to create accurate frameworks and structures.
Install window frames, door frames, and fit exterior cladding.
Ensure all installations meet safety and building code standards.
May repair or replace existing door and window fixtures.
Use a variety of materials including wood, plastic laminates, and metals.

Qualifications:

Relevant Level 4 qualification or above, or a Bachelor's degree in any field.
At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed above.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work specifications.
Strong attention to detail, ensuring precision and quality in all installations.
Good physical strength and stamina for lifting and positioning doors and windows.
