Leadership role; leading and developing ASB's corporate strategy Varied, dynamic and fast paced where you'll work with leaders across the business About the role: As a strategy development expert, you will work across ASB to lead the development of ASB's corporate strategy and help develop the supporting initiatives which meet the medium and longer term goals of ASB.
You will monitor trends in the external environment and lead analysis into strategic issues and opportunities.
You will partner with various stakeholders across ASB in the development of the corporate strategy and translate this future into clear outputs and communications so employees at all levels can understand ASB's strategic direction.
What you will do: Lead the team to develop ASB's corporate strategy.
You will apply strategic methodologies and processes to shape ASB's position and direction on key business opportunities and challenges, through deep collaboration with business unit strategy teams.
You will build relationships with Executive and Senior Leadership in the strategy development process, through direct engagement, facilitation and stakeholder management.
You will be responsible for the delivery and facilitation of executive strategy sessions.
The role will involve project management, work structuring, a strong problem-solving approach, a high drive for success, and high quality written outputs.
What we are looking for: You will have proven success in strategy development with a strong understanding of the frameworks and methodologies required to develop effective strategies.
You will thrive in ambiguous environments, be able to lead your team to solve difficult problems and use logic and analysis to shape the future direction of ASB.
You will be a natural facilitator, skilled at drawing out and bringing people together.
Your previous experience and credibility will help you challenge current thinking and your presentation skills, financial and business acumen, excellent report writing ability will ensure you can effectively influence change with senior and executive leaders.
