Are you looking for a unique location for your next career move? This coastal town on the North Island of New Zealand is seeking a Consultant C&A Psychiatrist.
Responsibilities: Provide infant, child and adolescent mental health, and addiction services.
Participate in after hours general on-call roster (1:4).
Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
Provide supervision and education to medical students, registrars, and other clinical staff.
Commitment to ongoing quality improvement programs.
Requirements: Broad generalist specialist experience in child and adolescent/youth psychiatry.
Sound understanding of contemporary models of care and experience of working in a culturally diverse setting.
Airship skills and experience working in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Interest in medical education and teaching.
Commitment to addressing inequalities for Maori.
