Neutron will be our next rocket on the launch pad, an advanced 13-tonne payload class, reusable rocket to launch the mega constellations of the future.
Our space systems business includes our extensive line of satellites and components that have enabled more than 1,700 missions including the James Webb Space Telescope, NASA Psyche Mission, Artemis I, Mars Ingenuity helicopter, and more.

WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO: As the Senior Avionics Development Engineer, you'll be a key figure in our engineering team, leading the design and testing of Avionics components for the Electron launch vehicle.
Your role involves expert-level electronic circuit and PCB design, ensuring mission-critical and safety-critical systems meet aviation standards.
From pioneering test systems to production-ready avionics, you'll drive development from concept to implementation, including software and custom electronics.
YOU'LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or other engineering5+ years of experience with hardware development or electronics test engineering THESE QUALIFICATIONS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE: Experience designing hardware from concept through to implementation Understanding of electronic circuits, design principles, and SMT manufacturing Understanding and experience in environmental design testing, such as vibration, shock, thermal, and TVACUnderstanding of interfaces and sensors including power supplies, oscilloscopes, serial devices, and instrumentation Excellent communication both written and verbal, including creating material for distribution to external parties Altium user to intermediate or higher status NX, Solid Works or other 3 D CADDemonstrated experience working in fast-paced environments Programming experience in Python, C/C++If the above sounds like you apply nowWHAT TO EXPECT: We’re on a mission to unlock the potential of space to improve life on Earth, but that’s not an easy task.
