Our purpose is providing affordable and sustainable energy for Far North consumers, which we are achieving by transforming the Top Energy Group into a technology-enabled energy company that generates and facilitates two-way energy flow between renewable energy generators and consumers.
We are seeking an Electrical Technician to carry out installation, maintenance and electrical wiring work on all aspects of Top Energy contracts and to assist and promote the 24/7 day-to-day operations of the Top Energy Technical Services Department.
This position reports to the Technical Services Maintenance Supervisor and is based at our Puketona Depot.
Key areas of focus will be to:
Manage day to day service and maintenance requests
Maintain, test, fault find and repair HV ad LV Distribution power equipment
Service electrical and safety equipment
Test electrical equipment
Provide clear, legible and precise As-Built information as required and accurate reporting paperwork
Participate in formal Stand-by roster
To succeed in this role, you will have a relevant trade certificate and a current practicing license.
You also must hold a full current Driver License and be computer literate.
Experience with transmission and/or distribution substation construction and maintenance would be an advantage.

We provide successful candidates with:
Pay rates for this position are from $40.23 to 47.17 per hour
Guaranteed 40 hours per week
