Work Location and Vacancy details  Drainlayer Auckland Region Permanent Position, Full-time (guaranteed 30 hours / per week, from Monday to Friday) Number of Vacancies: 2 persons Here’s what we need from you: Have at least 2 years work experience in the construction field or an Exempt license could be an alternative (Full registration as a drainlayer is not compulsory, training will be provided), or have a relevant NZ level 4 qualification or equivalent qualifications/certificates Tasks: ·      Install, repair, and maintain below-ground drainage systems in accordance with industry standards and regulations ·      Read blueprints, design drainage systems based on project requirements and site conditions ·      Cut concrete floor, dig trenches, remove rocks and earth for laying drains ·      Measure, cut, join and seal drains as per specifications ·      Install pipes and piping fixtures for water or sewage systems ·      Identify and troubleshoot drainage issues and propose cost-effective solutions ·      Lay and repair sewage and storm water drain and install and repair wastewater treatment systems ·      Consult with clients and other trades people about where the drains or wastewater treatment systems are to be laid or repaired this is especially important regarding underground gas pipes. ·      Ensure compliance with building codes and set safety standards What you get in return: Wage is $28.00- $35.00 per hour depending on your skills Opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects Career progression What to do now: If you are a proactive person, and a great team player, please send your CV via Jobspace website.
