Job Description:
This job is required to perform:
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Examining foodstuffs to ensure quality
Regulating temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment
Preparing and cooking food
Seasoning food during cooking
Portioning food, placing it on plates, and adding gravies,sauces and garnishes
Storing food in temperature controlled facilities
Preparing food to meet special dietary requirements
May plan menus and estimate food requirements
May train other kitchen staff and apprentices
Job requirement: applicant must meet following requirement to apply for this job
Cook relevant qualification or certificate is required and
At least three years relevant working experience in Chinese Restaurant
Chinese cooking skills and a passion for outstanding food
Work well in a team as well as individually
Be well-organized and able to multitask
Have strong Health and Safety awareness
Be physically fit
