The driver will have various duties, including driving the trucks safely, maintaining the tucks, completing log book, putting chains and washing the truck with chemicals every weekend etc.
Therefore, a good knowledge of chemicals, greasing, and topping up engine oils is required.
The driver must be available to work at any time after a 10-hour break if another driver needs assistance.
Note that social media use is not allowed while driving or working.
The job can be messy due to rain or travelling through forests for loads.
The position may also require travelling to different regions in the north island for delivery.
Excellent command of verbal and written English is a must.
Free from drug and criminal history.
A drug test or Ministry of Justice check may be required to determine suitability.
One year of relevant experience required.
