We are seeking a permanent Senior Communications and Engagement Advisor to join our team.

We're looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Senior Communications and Engagement Advisor to lead the Treasury's communications support for the Government's Annual Budget each year, working closely with our Budget team and right across the Treasury, as well as communications teams across government, and with ministerial offices.
In down times during the budget cycle, you'll get to work across a range of projects on the Treasury's wider work to support a stable and growing economy, strong public finances, and a high-performing public sector.
We're looking for an experienced communications professional, with a head for numbers as well as words, who can build strong relationships with stakeholders quickly with their can-do attitude and solution-focused approach.
In this role, you will get to use your already extensive skill set to provide high-quality, relevant, and timely communications and engagement support and delivery - helping coordinate a wide range of activity across a range of internal and stakeholder channels.
You'll be part of and contribute to a busy professional team that sits within the wider Strategy and Executive Services Directorate.

Well-developed skills at creating audience-focused content for a wide range of channels.
You can see the 'big picture' and can also dive into the detail of complex information quickly.
Excellent planning and administrative skills.
Prior experience in project and event management environments.
Exceptional written capability to present complex ideas in an easily understood format.
