The role
Are you a visionary leader ready to deliver game-changing digital and technology outcomes for clients across New Zealand and Australia? Clear Point is seeking a Principal Consultant to drive transformational collaborative partnerships and provide thought leadership in the evolving digital landscape.

As a Principal Consultant, you will be crucial in delivering high‑impact consulting and transformation engagements, blending hands‑on billable delivery with senior consulting work.
You'll support the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Client Directors in driving business growth and managing technical and strategic client relationships.

Your Toolkit for Success
Our ideal candidate is a forward‑thinking senior practitioner.
Your technical and delivery expertise will include:
Deep knowledge of architecture and design principles for microservices and cloud‑based solutions (including Graph QL and REST APIs).
Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Proven expertise in client delivery management, particularly in designing, building, and deploying digital engineering solutions.
Knowledge and hands‑on experience with front‑end frameworks (Angular, React JS, Vue.js) and continuous integration/delivery tools (Git Hub Actions, Azure Pipelines, Jenkins).
Strong capability in Agile methodologies (SCRUM, TDD, BDD, etc.) and experience with the DORA framework.
Demonstrated ability to lead large‑scale digital transformations.
Your leadership and consulting competencies will include:

Strong people leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and support teams.
Confidence in presenting ideas to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

What you’ll be working with (tech, tools and more)
We have a BYOD policy at Clear Point to allow you to utilise whatever tech takes your fancy.

All our permanent staff get an annual training and professional development budget for books, courses and conferences.
You’ll also get access to resources from a range of our partners such as AWS, Microsoft, Okta, Snowflake and Salesforce, including training platforms, partner portals, online courses and real‑life practice.
