Role Accountabilities An exciting and unique opportunity has arisen for a talented individual to join the NBS Executive Leadership Team, reporting directly to the Chief Executive.
The Chief Information Officer (CIO) is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the IT strategy and operations, driving efficiency and effectiveness in technology and IT to ensure optimal performance of the networks and systems.
They will have responsibility for ensuring their business functions, including Delivery, Information Technology, Enterprise Architecture, and Data and Reporting, are executed effectively and efficiently, and in accordance with best practice and NBS’s evolving needs.
This role will also collaborate closely with Executive and their teams to identify opportunities for business transformation, and maintain a continual focus on innovation, scalability, and sustainable compliant growth, whilst supporting NBS’s strategic objectives, including growth, compliance, and culture.
Background and Experience To be the right individual for this role, you will be a strategic leader with experience in IT/core operational system requirements, with a relevant qualification.
Preferably with an understanding of the requirements within the banking and financial services sector.
You will have proven ability to be an outstanding people leader and build strong collaborative relationships across all levels of the business, whilst demonstrating an aptitude to interpret data and statutory and regulatory requirements.
You will also have a focus on continuous improvement using creativity and innovation to find solutions.
