At SUNBLOCK LIMITED, we are seeking a skilled and experienced welders and Installers to join our team.
As an installer, you will be responsible for installing canopies and performing welding tasks to ensure the structural integrity and durability of the installations.
Your expertise in welding techniques and attention to detail will contribute to the successful completion of our canopy projets.
These are permanent full-time permanent employment with a minimum of 35 hrs/week Job Responsibilities (Welder)
Assisting the team in completing heavy structural fabrication for residential and commercial projects
Read and interpret technical drawings to fabricate and assemble components accurately
Cross-checking design specifications before starting to cutting work
Operate and maintain workshop equipment, including welders, benders and general machinery
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safe
Performing quality checks throughout the fabrication process
You should have one of the following;
Minimum previous 2 years relevant work experience in welding/fabrication OR a relevant level 4 qualification or higher
High level of competency across general fabrication tasks
Ability to work independently and take ownership of jobs
Confidence in reading and understanding engineering drawings
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Physically fit, with the ability to lift materials and stand for extended period
This is permanent full-time employment with a minimum of 35 hrs/week paying between $25-35.
Job Responsibilites (Installer):
Install canopies at various locations, including residential and commercial sites, following provided instructions and blueprints.
Prepare the installation area by ensuring proper measurements and alignment for accurate fitting.
Fabricate and weld metal framework for canopies using MIG, TIG, or other welding techniques.
Ensure proper alignment, strength, and stability of welded components to withstand various weather conditions.
Collaborate with the installation team to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient workflow.
Inspect and assess the quality of completed installations to verify adherence to specifications and safety standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or deficiencies in the canopy installation process.
Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Maintain accurate records of materials used, work performed, and time spent on each installation project.
Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organised.
You should have one of the following;
Minimum previous 3 years relevant work experience OR a relevant bachelor's degree
Ability to work independently and take ownership of jobs
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
This is permanent full-time employment with a minimum of 35 hrs/week paying between $30-35.
