We are looking for an experienced Glazing Manager to lead our high performing glazing team in picturesque Cromwell and help drive operational excellence and business growth.
As our Glazing Manager, you’ll oversee daily glazing operations, manage a team of skilled glaziers, and ensure that every project is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
You’ll be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating installations, managing resources, and maintaining strong client and supplier relationships.
This is a busy Central Otago branch which requires somebody who can think on their feet and prioritize work, without dropping the ball.
You will be well organised, detail focused and pride yourself on getting it right the first time.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of glaziers and apprentices across multiple projects.
Plan and coordinate glazing jobs, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
Oversee site safety, compliance, and quality control standards.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure clear communication and smooth project delivery.
Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and performance feedback to the team.
Monitor costs, stock, and materials to support operational efficiency.
Drive continuous improvement and uphold company values and service excellence.
Ensure daily reporting and customer communication hits the mark every time – the customer should never have to call us
About You:
Minimum 5 Years' experience as a Glazing Manager / Glazing Project Manager.
A tertiary qualification in a construction/project management or related field – beneficial but not essential.
Proven experience in glazing operations or glass installation management.
Strong technical knowledge of glass systems, glazing standards, and safety requirements.
An ability to read construction drawings and producer statements.

Strong people leadership and communication abilities.

An outstanding ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
Superb communication and interpersonal skills which enhance success and build respect and reputation with staff, peers, organisational leaders, customers, and industry representatives.
Proven experience managing multiple sites / teams at one time.
Ability to problem solve including going to site and working with stakeholders as required and think outside the box.
Results orientation - demonstrates energy and resilience in the pursuit of challenging goals.
Full NZ Driver’s Licence (or equivalent).
