Ko wai mātou | About us Tarawera Medical Centre was established in 1989 and is situated in the heart of Kawerau.
With over 4,500 patients enrolled in the practice, Tarawera Medical Centre plays a pivotal role in supporting the Kawerau community's health and wellbeing.
In March 2024, the practice was purchased by Te Puna Manawa o Tarawera, a joint partnership between Te Puna Ora o Mātaatua, Green Cross Health and Tūwharetoa Mai Kawerau Ki Te Tai.
