Our Transformation Office is the central hub that's driving forward our transformation roadmap, and we're looking for a passionate and collaborative Senior Business Analyst - Data to join our Core and Integration Services (CIS) Programme.
As a Senior Business Analyst - Data you’ll look after a range of business focused initiatives within the bank, varying in scale and complexity.
Working on the CIS programme, you’ll be focused on supporting the consolidation of data across core banking systems and minimizing impacts across downstream systems consuming core banking data (regulatory reporting, reconciliation, analytics).
Within the role, you'll work across the Kiwibank business with senior stakeholders and have a leader who is flexible and empowers you to get your job done.
As a Senior Business Analyst in the team, we’d like you to contribute to our community of practice, and share your knowledge and experience with the team.
Please Note: Internally at Kiwibank this position is named Transformation Programme Analyst due to it working embedded within a Transformation Programme.

At Kiwibank, we will help you build on your strengths and learn new skills, but in the meantime, we would love to hear from you if you have some of the following: Demonstrable experience operating as a Senior Business Analyst, ideally within a transformation or programme environment.
Confidence in data impact assessment and ensuring data compatibility for downstream systems, including regulatory reporting and reconciliation.
Skill in data mapping, data quality analysis, and SQL/data integration techniques.
Proficiency in business process improvement, with a focus on process design, documentation, and quality.
Expertise in eliciting and documenting comprehensive business, product, and technical requirements.
Strong relationship-building skills, with a collaborative approach to engaging stakeholders.
You'll be a skilled communicator and have the ability to work autonomously as well as in a team.
Proven project & delivery experience is essential, we're looking for practical skills and not just theory.
Sometimes you’ll need to be comfortable to challenge people's thinking - we value a ‘make it happen’ attitudeBonus Experience in banking/payments environments and systems related to Risk, Finance, and Treasury is desirable.
