Primary and intermediate (Years 1–8) / kura tuatahi, Syndicate leader English, Health and physical education, Learning languages, Mathematics and statistics, Science, Social sciences, Technology, Te reo Māori, The arts2 MU + 1 MMAWe have a permanent position available in this key leadership role of hapū leader from the start of term 1, 2025.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join a team of eleven other leaders in similar positions within our schoolThis role is like a hybrid of the roles of a year level dean and a team/curriculum leader in other more traditional settings.
Key responsibilities include leading a team of teachers in their role as a learning advisor, ensuring the delivery of our learning advisory curriculum reflects our intended objectives within your Hapū (around 100-120 Y7–10 students and 5-6 teachers), and supporting the implementation of our behaviour management system within your Hapū.
We are looking for applicants who have a passion for getting the best out of each and every student both personally and academically.
