Key Responsibilities:

Planning and Organizing: 
o Plan and organize the preparation and cooking of food in a professional kitchen.
o Ensure the efficient and smooth operation of the kitchen. 
2.
Menu Development: 
o Develop and design menus that meet the culinary standards and customer expectations.
o Implement seasonal changes to the menu and introduce new dishes. 
3.
Food Preparation: 
o Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards. 
o Ensure all dishes are prepared with precision, flavor, and aesthetic presentation.
4.
Quality Control: 
o Monitor the quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation. 
o Conduct regular checks to ensure food is stored at the correct temperatures and  conditions. 
5.
Inventory Management: 
o Oversee stock levels and order supplies when necessary. 
o Maintain inventory and record the use of food, supplies, and equipment. 
6.
Kitchen Management: 
o Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate their activities. 
o Train and develop kitchen staff, including junior chefs and apprentices. 
o Ensure all kitchen equipment is well-maintained and in good working order. 
7.
Compliance and Safety: 
o Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation standards in the kitchen. 
o Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene practices. 
o Conduct regular audits of kitchen practices and address any issues promptly. 
8.
Cost Management: 
o Manage food costs and minimize waste. 
o Implement cost-saving measures while maintaining quality and standards.
Job requirement: applicant must meet following requirement to apply for this job  
⢠At least 1 year of local experience working at a restaurant or a cafe; OR
⢠NZ Diploma as Cookery or Culinary at least level4; OR
⢠Any Certificate of completion as Culinary that is approved by Ministry of Education in  each country; OR 
⢠The National Skill Standard Testing as cook by the institute for skill development in  each country such as Thai Ministry of Labour at least Skill Level1.
