What will you do?

We are seeking an experienced Senior Security Engineer to join our Cybersecurity team. In this role, you'll take the lead in security engineering and driving improvements, supporting our overall security strategy. Working closely with our Technology Infrastructure Team and external vendors, you'll play a key role in balancing organisational risks while delivering innovative security solutions.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Maintain and enhance the security capabilities of our Technology team by ensuring that security controls are defined, developed and deployed.
  • Lead the design, development and implementation of security controls and improvements.
  • Lead security engineering initiatives, driving operational enhancements, acting as a security subject matter expert (SME), and directing/implementing security remediation.
  • Collaborate closely with our Infrastructure team to define and implement sustainable security controls within Ryman.

Who are you?
  • You have proven experience as a Senior Security Engineer, Security Consultant, or in a related role.
  • You have proven experience with several of the following tools/technologies: Microsoft security stack, network security controls.
  • You excel in security engineering and implementing security designs.
  • An eye for detail and understand the importance of documentation as a security cornerstone.
  • You value people and kindness and are passionate about delivering results.
  • You strive for excellence and constantly look for ways to exceed expectations; delivering a high-quality service at speed will be second nature.
