Business Analyst

New Plymouth and Auckland are the preferred locations

Fixed term, full-time to January 2026

About the role

As a Business Analyst at TSB, you'll be responsible for working with stakeholders across the bank to analyse and document business requirements, business processes and customer journey maps.

The role will range from mapping current and future state processes, to assisting with the development of initiatives that push the boundaries of where our business can go.

Who are you?

You will have proven success in delivering outcomes while working in cross-functional teams, and supporting Mission Owners with defining objectives, key results, roadmaps and solution requirements.

Your experience with service design techniques and business process modelling will enable you to develop customer journey and business process maps to evaluate both current and future states.

You will be a critical thinker with attention to detail while maintaining a holistic perspective to ensure you are both customer and delivery focused.

In this role, you can expect to:

  1. Identify, create and facilitate business process design.
  2. Support the elicitation and documentation of business, customer and technology requirements.
  3. Act as a link between key business and technical teams.
  4. Research and analyse data to assist with transformational business decisions.

We are looking for candidates who have:

  1. 2+ years prior experience as a Business Analyst and / or 3+ years in Financial Services or Banking.
  2. Good business process modelling skills with an understanding of BPMN.
  3. Experience with BPM tool Signavio is an advantage.
  4. Experience with service design techniques such as customer journey mapping.
