A Squad Lead is a key member of the NZ Enabling Team (Leadership Team) responsible for championing the vision, strategy, and direction of Roche Diagnostics New Zealand (RDNZ). • Demonstrating Creative Leadership competencies by being a Visionary, Architect, Catalyst, and Coach (VACC), empowering employees to innovate, collaborate, be authentic, and own their impact.
  • Maintaining a pool of talent to address RDNZ's short and long-term priorities.

What you will be working on:

As the Squad Lead for Roche Diagnostics Solution (RDS), you will oversee Objectives and Key Results, Product Management, Product Marketing, and Application functions for Core Lab and Molecular Solutions portfolios. You will deliver better patient outcomes by leading an externally-focused organization that co-creates with stakeholders, ensuring regulatory compliance and adherence to Roche's Code of Conduct.

As a Squad Lead, you will:

  • Contribute strategically to the organization's activities and outcomes.
  • Engage with external stakeholders to establish Roche as a trusted partner.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of Roche's products and services.
  • Optimize market share and profit growth for the product portfolio.
  • Collaborate on complex opportunities with the Strategic Key Account team.
  • Stay updated on network dynamics and lead the development and execution of a strategic plan aligning with Roche's goals.
  • Remove obstacles, promote smart risks, and encourage rapid learning, while leading multifunctional teams to tackle complex business opportunities.
  • Enhance customer-facing functions, improve customer experience, and build business capabilities.
  • Lead post-sales support and ensure customer satisfaction in line with RDNZ SOPs while complying with safety, health, and environmental policies.

Who you are:

You are an Agile and VACC leader who will embody Roche's Leadership Commitment, Operating Principles, and APAC Spirit. You have outstanding communication and networking skills, a deep understanding of the healthcare system, strategic thinking, and the ability to develop and execute plans through teamwork and collaboration.

You have:

  • A Life-Science, engineering or related degree, having an MBA a plus.
  • A minimum of 8 years of demonstrated experience in the Marketing and/or commercial function(s) in similar capacity.
  • Demonstrated people leader experience ideally within the diagnostic pathology laboratory or healthcare related industry.
  • Customer centric mindset.

Your success hinges on driving continuous improvement, building excellent external and internal relationships, whilst having the energy to mobilize and execute in complex environments with enthusiasm for leading, learning, and driving excellence.

This role is only open to candidates that have full eligibility to live and work in New Zealand.

We do not accept any unsolicited resumes or enquiries from recruitment agencies. Roche has a dedicated in-house Talent Acquisition team.
