About the RoleWe are seeking an enthusiastic, team-focused Healthcare Assistant to join our Ward 3A team. This position is rostered and involves rotating shift patterns, including weekends and nights.
About the Team/Service/LocationOur team in Ward 3A is committed to providing excellent care in a busy 30-bed surgical ward. We emphasise the importance of teamwork with all staff and provide a supportive and positive environment to utilise and extend your clinical skills.
About YouIdeally, candidates will have:
- Recent Health Care experience
- Commitment to working in a team
- Ability to follow direction
- Adaptability and flexibility
- Motivation and commitment to self-directed learning
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Driver's licence
- Preferred completion of Healthcare Assistant or Health Support training or a NZQA approved National Certificate of the Older Person (level 3) or the National Certificate in Community Support Service (level 3)
