Your role

Capgemini Testing Service Line provides Testing and related Environment/DevOps services to various financial clients. This service produces clearly identifiable results, notably the reduction in the cost of software development and maintenance by up to 30%, enhanced quality levels, improved time to market, and importantly mitigation of technical and business risks.

In this role you will play a key role in: supporting continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) processes and performing comprehensive testing using simulators and real-world mobile devices. It requires a deep understanding of test automation, proficiency in coding, and the ability to work in an agile environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both functional and non-functional testing, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.

The requirement is for an intermediate level Automation Engineers

  • Minimum 5 years software testing experience with at least 3 years in Test Automation
  • Proven working experience with any of tools that support test automation e.g. Playwright, Jenkins pipeline, Codefresh pipeline and Postman.
  • Proficiency in coding with at least one programming language (e.g. Typescript, Java).
  • Understand when and what to automate
  • Test automation using a scripting language
  • Testing in continuous integration environments
  • Experience using source control tools Git and Bitbucket
  • Knowledge and experience in SQL scripting
  • An agile and open mind-set, able to consider new ideas and approaches to complex situations
  • Experience working in an agile environment (ideally Scrum)
  • Proven problem-solving ability
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Self-managing and a self-starter
Your profile
  • Experience testing or developing native mobile apps, or with the Online Store Application
  • Experience testing or developing Node.js microservices
  • Experience in Monitoring tools (e.g. Dynatrace, Splunk)
  • Previous experience in Banking Domain
  • API/Microservices Testing Experience (RestAssured, Postman)
