About the Role

As the Clinical Nurse Specialist – Infusion Therapy you will:

  • Act as an expert practitioner, educator, consultant, researcher, change agent, and leader within the Infusion Therapy specialty.
  • Deliver independent, advanced clinical care across various settings, including inpatient and community environments, while fostering strong relationships with patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams as necessary while primarily functioning independently to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Strengthen partnerships between primary and secondary care to ensure smooth transitions and early interventions for patients, improving healthcare delivery.

About You

For this role you will:

  • Be a Registered Nurse with a current practicing certificate in New Zealand; Postgraduate qualifications in Nursing or relevant clinical specialty preferred.
  • Have extensive clinical knowledge and experience in Infusion Therapy, recognized nationally and internationally as a specialist.
  • Be able to coach and educate diverse individuals by your ability to connect with people using strong communication, empathy, and adaptability.
  • Demonstrate a proven ability to lead and inspire others while fostering a collaborative environment.
