Come join our Customer Verification – AML & Sanctions Team at Kiwibank and develop a sound understanding of anti-money laundering and financial crime.

As an AML & Sanctions Analyst you will:

1. Investigate unusual activity alerts for suspicious activity and writing clear justifications for your decision making.
2. Write and submit Suspicious Transaction Reports and provide recommendations to management regarding follow up actions.
3. Review International payments for potential Sanctions matches and take appropriate action where necessary.
4. Work as a team to maintain important SLAs and ensure Kiwibank remains compliant with AML/CFT legislation.
5. Maintain several key AML compliance functions within Kiwibank.

At Kiwibank, we will help you build on your strengths and learn new skills, but in the meantime, we would love to hear from you if you have some of the following:

1. Experience in AML and Transaction Monitoring, and Financial Crime typologies.
2. High attention to detail and proven analytical skills.
3. The ability to work to a high standard in a high-pressure environment.
4. Clear written and verbal communication skills.
5. Confidence in reporting, analysing information and making recommendations.
