Jetstar Engineering: A team that takes off together

Jetstar's NZ Engineering Team are at the forefront of delivering our superior safety standards. They are responsible for ensuring the airworthiness of our fleet of aircraft and customer aircraft, including completing all required maintenance that must be carried out on time and to approved standards to ensure they take to the skies safely. All maintenance needs to be documented, with detailed records maintained.

Ready for your next adventure? We're on the hunt for someone who:

  • Holds a B1 Category CASA Aircraft Engineer license or New Zealand / overseas equivalent license
  • Has excellent time management skills and a proven ability to effectively manage self and others;
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team;
  • Has experience in aircraft maintenance;
  • Has a proven commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement initiatives;
  • Has proven problem-solving skills and the ability to handle competing demands;
  • Holds a valid driving license and ability to obtain an Airside Driver's License;
  • Is able to work a minimum of 40+ hours per week;
  • Is able to work 24/7 shift work (12-hour shifts)
