Payroll & HR Services Specialist - 12 months Fixed Term

We are looking for a Fixed Term Payroll and HR professional to join our close-knit HR Team based at our head office in Highbrook covering a period of parental leave. Reporting to the HR Manager NZ, the Payroll & HR Services Specialist is the face of our team and often the first point of contact for associates at JDE Peet's.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Processing payrolls, monthly and weekly using an outsourced system
- HR and Onboarding documentation, contracts, employment documentation etc.
- First line of advice for HR and Payroll queries
- Managing our HR and Payroll and Time & Attendance systems, Datacom, HumanForce, Success Factors, and Smart Recruiters
- Supporting the HR Team in key People and Engagement initiatives
- Managing our HR Metrics and Reporting
We are looking for someone who wants to broaden their knowledge of HR and Payroll while learning from an experienced team in a dynamic environment. You will be a fast-learner with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. You enjoy working with systems and processes with a continuous improvement mindset.
You will ideally have:
- Previous administrative experience in a detail-focused role
- Previous Payroll and Time & Attendance experience (Datacom and HumanForce desirable)
- Experience in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills
- The ability to pick up new systems quickly. SAP, Success Factors, and Smart Recruiters an advantage
- Excellent attention to detail
- Working knowledge of employment legislation, HR and Payroll processes, and administration
- Strong MS Office skills particularly in Microsoft Excel and Word
