Dunedin Kia is part of a locally owned, family business since 1995 and they have partnered with Your People Recruitment to assist them with finding a Service Advisor to join their team.
As a Service Advisor, you will be the face of the dealership, providing exceptional customer service to their valued clients. You will be responsible for helping customers through the service process, answering questions, and ensuring they understand KIA warranty and servicing requirements.
The hours of work for this role are 7.45am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Greet customers and provide a welcoming and positive experience for them
- Schedule service appointments and ensure efficient scheduling of work orders
- Communicate with customers throughout the service process and provide updates on progress
- Prepare service estimates, explain repair needs and costs to customers, and obtain approval for repairs
- Coordinate with the service team to ensure timely and accurate completion of repairs
- Follow up with customers after service is completed to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
- Maintain accurate records of service work performed and customer interactions.
Skills and experience:
- Prior experience in customer service or automotive service industry is preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Accurate data entry skills – experience with invoicing would be advantageous
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and database management systems.
