With significant experience and an excellent reputation in their field, this well-known and sector-leading business is searching for an ambitious Finance Business Partner. The purpose of this role is to deliver effective and timely financial and commercial reporting and analysis to a range of businesses within the group.

Reporting to a tenured and commercially focused Group CFO, this is a genuine business partnering role, and the key deliverables of the role include supporting decision-making within the business by partnering with Group business units primarily in an advisory capacity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Working closely with the business to support and analyse performance and strong commercial decision making.
  • Continuously monitor market trends, staying informed about key changes with respect to its stakeholders, funding sources, suppliers, and overall industry shifts.
  • Effectively manage and prioritize workload based on the urgency and importance of tasks, ensuring timely delivery of key financial initiatives.
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, creating and refining complex MS Excel models to budget annual financial performance of multiple businesses.
  • Preparing financial and management reports and analysis.
  • Supporting key business leaders across all aspects of financial reporting.
  • Conducting strategic business analysis and exploring new opportunities.
  • Engaging in projects, financial modelling, and developing business cases.

As a qualified chartered accountant or equivalent, the considerable commercial and financial accounting skills and experience you have already gained across a range of roles, ideally in professional services or the health sector, will allow you to provide high-quality accounting, best practice reporting, and deliver sound commercial advice.

Finally, your ability to self-manage and influence using exceptional communication skills, where you provide information clearly and succinctly in a continuously evolving sector, will be the key to your success.
