Business Analyst

We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst to drive business transformation through data-driven insights and innovative digital solutions. This role involves analyzing business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful digital strategies that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience. As an essential member of our Digital and Data team, you will work collaboratively to ensure continuous improvement across a range of processes, working with key stakeholders across the business.

What you'll do:

• Clarifying the needs and problems of our clients or Fisher Funds team to assist in the exploration of service improvement and solutions.
• Fostering a single understanding of user journeys and processes within Fisher Funds as a foundation to drive improvements.
• Stewarding the design, documentation, and maintenance of business processes.
• Sharing and refining our backlogs to ensure stakeholders have a clear understanding of the value, acceptance criteria, and 'definition of done' associated with deliverables.
• Reviewing deliverables to ensure they meet the acceptance and quality requirements.
• Managing and communicating releases across our internal and external stakeholders.

What we're looking for:

• A mindset that focuses on process, solution, or reporting outcomes for end-users over extensive business-derived requirements.
• Identifying end-user needs and surfacing key friction points to address.
• Maintaining backlogs with product and dev teams.
• Working with Product Owners & Tech Leads to break down and order iterative value delivery.
• Leading the troubleshooting of production issues under the team's remit.
• Validating end-to-end processes within your own team and across others where applicable.
• Familiarity with event-based API infrastructure, AWS step-functions, and Salesforce would be a big advantage.
• Developing user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Verifying that digital solutions meet requirements.
• Experience in approaches such as User Story and/or impact mapping.
• Working with key technical partners or suppliers to foster collaboration for successful solution delivery.
