You'll translate data into compelling narratives and engage effectively with stakeholders to ensure that insights are understood throughout the business.

We'll look to you your advanced analytical, statistical, and predictive modelling techniques to play a pivotal role in informing strategic decision-making that can reshape the future of Chubb Life NZ.

In this key role you'll

1. Harness advanced predictive models and cutting-edge algorithms to accurately forecast future trends and empower strategic business decision-making.
2. Improve data quality and expand the quantity of data within the system to enhance decision-making.
3. Establish scalable and reliable metrics to measure success and proactively identify potential risks.
4. Analyse key business areas, including persistency, sales, and retention metrics, to drive performance improvements.
5. Work alongside cross-functional teams to convert business requirements into effective analytical solutions and enhance the development of data analytics within the organisation.

To be successful and grow in this role, you will ideally bring the following

1. 6+ years of data analysis and data modelling experience, including predictive modelling and propensity analysis.
2. Demonstrable experience communicating and presenting skills to share insights to inform business decisions.
3. Highly developed problem-solving and attention to detail.
4. Excellent communicator with proven ability to influence and negotiate with all levels of staff including senior management.
5. Degree in mathematics/statistics (Masters/PhD preferred).
