We are on the lookout for a Superstar Storeperson to join our Hawera Distribution Team Working, 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday. The environment is often fast paced - with plenty of scope to learn and develop your career at one of Farmlands top performing stores, which prides itself on growing and developing great Farmlanders

Reporting to our Site Manager, your role as Storeperson is vital to our performance, so it is critical we get the right individual who has strong work ethic and thrives working in an environment that is fun while being fast paced and demanding. This is a role that offers great variety and opportunities to grow and develop.

You'll be somebody who values, and positively contributes to a great team culture. Armed with plenty of energy and enthusiasm, you'll be highly motivated and enjoy working with a group of people that are like-minded and thrive on delivering to the shareholder every day

You will also have:

  • A full Forklift / OSH approved license - with experience operating in a warehouse style environment
  • Knowledge of Warehouse Management system (WMS) using smart mobile scanner to pick and pack orders. This is not compulsory but preferred
  • Good computer skills and the ability to learn new systems with confidence is an absolute necessity, receipting items into stock and working in our newly developed D365 system is a large component of the role.
  • A meticulous eye for detail, motivated and you are someone that thrives and enjoys completing tasks in a timely manner.
  • Experience with rolling stock takes and investigation is an advantage as well as strong Health and Safety values.
  • Physical fitness and being comfortable working on your feet all day and lifting and carrying stock.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer service skills are tools of your trade.
  • An empathy and affinity with the rural sector will be in your DNA.
