Pharmacist Community & Clinical Role - Unichem Upper Hutt/High Street

At Unichem Upper Hutt & Unichem High Street Pharmacy, we are a busy community pharmacy group with large dispensary focused teams. This is a rare opportunity to work in a busy community pharmacy providing services to aged care facilities and the local hospice. There will be rostered time spent offsite providing services at the local hospice 3 days per week. We also provide education sessions to nursing and care staff, as well as in-pharmacy and offsite vaccinations, mixed with time in the dispensary.

Your role would entail a variety of work and would be great for an experienced pharmacist or a pharmacist looking to learn and grow in skills and knowledge.

This is a Permanent Full Time position, rostered up to 40 hours across 5 days from Monday to Sunday.

Minimum Requirements
  • A NZ qualified Pharmacist with current APC.
  • Postgraduate certificate or diploma in clinical pharmacy - Desirable but not essential.
  • Experience or interest in providing clinical services.
  • Hospice, hospital or aged care experience.
  • Be able and competent to practice sole charge.
  • A highly motivated, energetic people person with strong retail and sales confidence.
  • Able to demonstrate great retail and natural health knowledge.
  • Excellent communication skills and a high standard of grooming.
  • Motivated and dedicated to continual improvement of self and the business.
