ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator/Quantity Surveyor to join our team to undertake tendering, manage project costs, ensure accurate budgeting, and support the financial aspects of our projects. You will work closely with other Estimators and Contract Managers to help deliver projects on time and within budget. Our sites include brownfield and greenfield electrical substations/switchyards, deep and complex drainage projects, solar farms and many sites involving in-situ cast concrete and precast concrete buildings and structures.

ABOUT YOU

Reporting to the Senior Estimator/Quantity Surveyor you will hold:

  • Qualification in estimating
  • Minimum three years NZ based estimating experience in the civil construction sector
  • Excellent attention to detail with solid analytical and numerical skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong ability to collaborate with team members, subcontractors and clients
  • Proficient computer skills including advanced MS Office (Word, Excel)
  • Hamilton based and entitled to live and work in New Zealand
