The Opportunity

This is a truly unique opportunity that is a combination of hands-on strategic project and operational management and will see you operate as a key liaison point across the entire organisation, as well as across associated assets/funds. You'll assist the management and coordination of any projects relating to new ventures/funds, expansions, systems and process development, and development of broader risk and compliance frameworks. Beyond that, you will review all current operational tasks and workflows, identify inefficiencies and/or holes in documentation and look to implement and/or rectify these processes.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  1. Coordinate and project manage operational projects which tend to cut across different functional groups within the firm and offices.
  2. Support the review of organisational design and change. Where required, support the establishment of new operational functions.
  3. Undertake Group wide process mapping, support and implement process design and recommend efficiencies, document the processes into the relevant systems, facilitate workshops and train where necessary.
  4. Assist with regular operational due diligence and risk analysis reviews both annually and ad hoc as required.
  5. Assist with such other aspects of the Group's business as may be agreed with the Strategic Operations Director.
About You

You could come from a variety of backgrounds You may come from a Big 4 firm or Large Legal practice and be looking for an exciting career change away from 'core' management consulting, accounting, or law. You may be working for a large commercial enterprise in a risk/compliance function, or you've worked with scaling startups but are looking for your next challenge. The client is negotiable on your background, but they are non-negotiable on the following:

  2. You'll have high levels of initiative and the ability to work with ambiguity in an ever-changing environment.
  3. You'll be a natural at utilising the expertise of those around you to make sound and sensible commercial decisions.
  4. You'll have a logical and sensible approach to commercial and operational risk management.
  5. You will be professionally presented, and given the range of stakeholders you will be exposed to, you will also possess fantastic English written and verbal communication skills.

This is a contract through till the end of August 2026, so would be up toward 16 months in length depending on start dates.
