Higgins have an exciting pipeline of work for 2025. As such, we have an opportunity for a Project Engineer to join the Higgins Team in Tauranga. You will be joining a team of experienced Project Managers and Supervisors working on large scale civil construction projects across the Bay of Plenty region.

What you'll bring to the role:
  • 3 + years' experience as an Engineer on civils and roading projects
  • Prior project experience overseeing roading, earthworks and pavement construction
  • Major project experience is preferred but not essential.
  • A tertiary qualification in Engineering (NZDCE or BEng Civils or similar)
  • A strong focus on cost control and Quality outcomes.
  • Understanding of the Construction Contracts Act and the knowledge to apply NZS3910 is desirable
  • Experience managing project resources including materials and teams/crews is favourable.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with stakeholders and clients.
