About Our Role

  • Based at Clutha Views Lifecare and Village in Balclutha
  • Permanent Full-time (32 hours or more per week)
  • Attractive hourly rate

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Maintenance Coordinator, with a passion for working in the general maintenance environment, to make a meaningful difference to the lives of our residents. You will have a positive can-do attitude, have the belief that a clean and tidy environment is important to well-being, and be great at working with people.

As a Maintenance Coordinator, you will be responsible for the general maintenance of the care home including preventative maintenance measures, gardening, building repairs, maintaining the building exterior at the Care Home, and working with the Care Home Manager to ensure a high level of resident safety. You will also help with maintaining and mowing grassed areas, edging treatment and weed control. This is an opportunity to work in an environment where career pathways and positive work ethics are important. Your Skills And Experience

  • Experience with general maintenance, painting, plumbing, and minor carpentry is preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and also independently.
  • Ability to build good rapport with others and show empathy.
  • Good communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
  • A genuine love for helping people, with excellent customer service skills, and a friendly and positive attitude.
  • Experience delivering to a quality standard.
  • A full clean driver's license.
