Assistant Shop Manager

Permanent, Part-time (24 hours per week)

Monday, Tuesday and Sunday shifts

Dominion Road and Sandringham Shops

About The Role – Kōrero Mō Te Tūranga

In this role you will:

  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Promote/drive sales
  • Utilise your solid cash management and till management experience
  • Assist with shop presentation/displays
  • Undertake stock management/preparation and control as per training
  • Support volunteers' adherence to our Health, Safety and Wellbeing practice

To Be Successful You Will Have

Experience in:

  • Cash handling, cash management, and retail shop operations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A retail sales environment
  • Working as or with volunteers
  • Dealing with customers
  • Enthusiasm and commitment to work as a team member of Red Cross
  • Self-motivation and a positive and friendly approach
  • Reliability and work with integrity

This role will be required to work on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Sundays, between our Sandringham and Dominion Road Shops, so the successful candidate must be able to work these days and between these two shops.
