Not to be confused with our Gym Instructors, our Group Fitness Instructors are the star of the show

As a Group Fitness Instructor you're passionate, you'll shamelessly promote your classes, get to know our members and inspire them to keep at it. Once the class starts, it's all systems go, your primary responsibility is to keep energy levels up and ensure correct technique is being practiced. At the end of a session you high five members and remind them why they're there.

We are looking for a trained or experienced fitness instructor.

If relentless enthusiasm, fitness and wellbeing and an inclination for being in the spotlight is in your DNA, you're able to keep members pumped throughout the session, walk the floor, giving more attention to the new guy who has never been to a class before, whilst at the same time pumping up the spirits of two ladies on the other side of the group getting through their weekly Aqua Fit class all with a big smile on your face, this role is for you

This role will report directly to the Fitness Activation Coordinator. You will lead the Aqua Fit classes on Monday and Wednesday, 6:30-7:30pm at Gallagher's Aquatic Centre.

Qualifications

  • Level 3 Certification related to Exercise
  • Experience within the fitness industry
  • Current first aid certificate
What's the salary?

The pay rate for this role is $45 per hour.
