What You'll Do

  • Planning - Ensure smooth running of team delivery, drive definition of and encourage team accountability of definition of ready and done, adhering to our practices and processes whilst applying a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Product Lead Interfacing - Support Product Manager/Owners to implement best practise, especially around grooming and maintaining the product backlog/task list/schedule.
  • Agile Events - Schedule and facilitate Agile events (pre-planning/sprints), stand-ups, reviews, demo's, retrospectives, quarterly planning and coaching team members in applied agile frameworks.
  • Artefacts - Produce and communicate sprint/ plan and release reports, backlog documentation, and metrics including sprint/milestone/release status to key stakeholders.
  • Monitoring - Produce burndowns / status updates in collaboration with Studio Production team across sprints and teams. Monitor progress on jobs to be done and work with the teams to prepare/present corrective action proposals.
  • Team Performance and Impediment Removal - Drive, encourage and foster teamwork while effectively resolving conflicts and removing obstacles that occur, escalate issues appropriately.
  • Communication - Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration within the delivery team and across departments. Be the point of contact for key delivery communications, ensuring accurate, effective and timely communication occurs across the Technology and Product teams and stakeholders.
  • Technical Support - Collaborate with Programming and Product teams for product delivery, feature release, hotfixes, ticket statuses and change requests, ensuring effective feedback loop with teams and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge Management - Guide the delivery team and organisation on how to use work management tools, practices and values to deliver work that delights customers, leading to a higher level of work management maturity.

Requirements

Preferred Work Experience

  • Have 4+ years working as a Scrum Master / Delivery Lead / Agile Project Manager leveraging agile delivery practices, within Product/Digital/Tech/Software company

Certification or Qualifications

  • Tertiary Level Degree in Management or similar qualification - preferred
  • Certified Agile Coach and/ or Scrum Master

Technology & Systems

  • A high level of exposure to Product Managers, Solution Architects, Product Owners, Software Engineers, Software Testers, UX Designers and DevOps Engineers
  • Broad experience across digital systems and technology platforms (Jira, Monday/MS Projects etc)
