About The Role
Due to continued growth and client demand, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior or Principal IT Recruitment Consultant to join the talented team at RWA Technology People. This appointment will focus on expanding our IT talent sourcing capabilities to businesses in Christchurch and across the wider South Island. What You'll Be Doing
- Build & Grow Your Desk - Take ownership of a specialist IT recruitment function, leveraging RWA's brand and network.
- Business Development - Develop new client relationships while maintaining and growing existing accounts.
- Candidate Engagement - Source, attract, and manage top IT talent across various domains.
- Market Leadership - Establish yourself as a trusted expert by staying up to date with tech trends and attending industry events.
- End-to-End Recruitment - Manage the full recruitment process, ensuring a seamless experience for both clients and candidates.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven IT Recruitment Experience - Minimum of 2+ years in IT recruitment with a successful track record.
- Business Development Skills - A natural ability to win and grow client relationships.
- Resilience & Drive - Self-motivated with the ambition to build and scale a high-performing desk.
- Tech Market Knowledge - A strong understanding of the IT sector and hiring challenges.
- Collaboration - A team player who thrives in a high-performing, supportive culture.
